Creating Greener Energy for the North East

A facility requirement of £830k to enable the buyback of an Anaerobic Digestion plant in the North East.

The Client had been through a torrid time with the JV partner on the build and running of the AD plant.

The chance had arisen to purchase the overall site back from LPA Receivers.

The deal was highly complex as it included the Client, the LPA Receivers, two foreign investment funds, and a complex set of Assets.

The facility was used to purchase the site back along with providing cash flow for the first six months, whilst the plant recommenced operations.

Momentum was able to offer a facility secured on the property and the assets/plant and machinery of the AD plant.

Momentum also provided the facility at 1% interest per month due to the significant LTV proposition.

The site has been purchased back and is now going through its first month of operation, much to the delight of the Client
